Level 7 is reached at the master's stage, below the doctorate.

The framework does not extend to a level 9 for academic qualifications.

A level 10 does not exist within this eight-level structure.

The framework runs across eight levels integrating school, higher and vocational learning.

It enables credit accumulation and transfer through the Academic Bank of Credits.
