Explanation
★The answer is 149 to 51.
★Take the total in D as 100, so 45 pass and 55 fail.
★Among the passed, males are 4 of 5, giving 36, and among the failed, males are 7 of 10, giving 38.5.
★So the total males are 36 plus 38.5, which is 74.5.
★The females are 9 plus 16.5, which is 25.5, so the ratio is 74.5 to 25.5.
★That simplifies to 149 to 51.
