Assertion (A): India is one of the fastest growing economy of the World.
Reason (R): To grow fast, India has been spending six percent of GDP on education since 2014.
ABoth (A) and (R) are correct and (R) is the correct explanation of (A)
BBoth (A) and (R) are correct but (R) is not the correct explanation of (A)
C(A) is correct but (R) is not correct ✓ Correct
D(A) is not correct but (R) is correct
Answer: C
Explanation
★The assertion is true, as India is among the fastest growing economies. The reason is false, because India has not been spending six percent of its GDP on education since 2014, the actual spending has stayed well below that and the six percent figure remains only a target. So the assertion is correct but the reason is not, which is option C.
