Given below are two statements, one labelled as Assertion (A) and the other labelled as Reason (R). In the light of the above statements, choose the correct answer from the options given below.

Assertion (A): Sindh was invaded by Muhammad bin Qasim in 712 CE, which resulted in the defeat of Dahir.

Reason (R): Al-Bawarij were the dreaded pirates in Sindh who plundered a ship destined to the Caliph, and Dahir showed his inability to punish the Al-Bawarij.
