ABoth A and R are correct and R is the correct explanation of A ✓ Correct
BBoth A and R are correct but R is not the correct explanation of A
CA is correct but R is not correct
DA is not correct but R is correct
Correct answer: (A) Both A and R are correct and R is the correct explanation of A — Both are correct and R explains A, so the answer is both correct with R explaining A.
Explanation
Both are correct and R explains A, so the answer is both correct with R explaining A.
Raja Ram Mohan Roy rejected Christianity and denied the divinity of Jesus Christ.
He wrote the Precepts of Jesus in 1820, presenting Jesus as a moral teacher, not a god.
In this work he separated the ethical teachings of Jesus from the miracles and divinity.
This very work is what shows his denial of Christ's divinity.
So both statements are correct and the reason explains the assertion.
