A284 : 197 ✓ Correct
B149 : 154
C142 : 79
D53 : 41
Correct answer: (A) 284 : 197 — The ratio of 2020 to 2017 registered cars is 284 to 197.
Explanation
The ratio of 2020 to 2017 registered cars is 284 to 197.
The total cars in all cities in 2017 add up to 19700.
The total in 2020 adds up to 28400.
So the required ratio is 28400 to 19700.
Dividing both terms by 100 gives 284 to 197.
This ratio does not simplify further.
