NEP 2020 introduces vocational education in schools from Grade 6 onwards, with hands-on internships built in.

Grade 3 is far too early for the vocational exposure envisaged.

Grade 4 also precedes the stage the policy specifies.

Grade 5 is before the intended starting grade.

The aim is to give a large share of learners vocational exposure during their school years.

The National Committee for the Integration of Vocational Education will coordinate this integration.
