What are the communication media ?

Communication media are the carriers of messages, namely newspapers, radio, video and television.

Each of these is a channel through which content reaches a wide audience.

A conference or a meeting is a communication event or setting, not a medium.

Advertisers and camera crew are communication personnel, again not media themselves.

A mela or a procession is a traditional or folk gathering rather than a mass medium.

Media are commonly split into print, electronic and, more recently, digital or new media.
