Correct answer: (B) 780 : 497 — The ratio of female employees in College D to College E is 780 to 497.
Explanation
★The ratio of female employees in College D to College E is 780 to 497.
★Female in D is 2760 times 13/23, which is 1560.
★Female in E is 2840 times 7/20, which is 994.
★The required ratio is 1560 to 994.
★Dividing both terms by 2 gives 780 to 497.
★This ratio does not simplify further as 780 and 497 share no common factor.
