College C: 2920 employees, ratio 9:11.
College D: 2760 employees, ratio 10:13.

What is the ratio of the number of boys who appeared from school C in 2019 to the number of girls who appeared from school E in 2021?
A5 : 4
B8 : 7
C9 : 8
D10 : 9 ✓ Correct
Correct answer: (D) 10 : 9 — The required ratio is 10 to 9.
Explanation
★The required ratio is 10 to 9.
★In school C in 2019 boys are 44 percent and the difference 60 is 12 percent of the total.
★So the boys number 60 over 12 times 44, which is 220.
★In school E in 2021 boys are 70 percent and the difference 264 is 40 percent of the total.
★So the girls at 30 percent number 264 over 40 times 30, which is 198.
★The ratio 220 to 198 simplifies to 10 to 9.
