The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the UGC NET June 2026 provisional answer key this week, before 15 August 2026. Candidates who appeared in the exam can now get ready to check their responses and challenge any answer they disagree with.
Key dates
- Exam held: 22–30 June 2026 (re-exam on 5 July 2026)
- Provisional answer key: this week (before 15 August 2026)
- Objection window: about 2–3 days after the key is released
- Final answer key & result: after the objections are reviewed
How to download the answer key
- Visit the official UGC NET website
- Log in with your application number and date of birth (or password)
- Enter the security PIN
- Open your candidate dashboard and download the provisional answer key and your response sheet
How to raise an objection
- Objection fee: ₹200 per question (non-refundable)
- Attach valid academic proof (a textbook or research paper) for each challenge
- Objections are accepted only within the given window, so act quickly
