Given below are two statements. Statement I: Increasingly, photovoltaic panels are being used to supplement electrical energy from the power grid. Statement II: One issue with grid-connected photovoltaics is that PV cells produce alternating current (AC) whereas power grids use direct current (DC). In the light of the above statements, choose the correct answer from the options given below.
