The National Solar Mission, one of the missions of the National Action Plan on Climate Change (NAPCC), was launched in the year

The Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission was launched in 2010 to make India a global leader in solar energy.

Its original target was 20,000 MW of grid solar by 2022, later revised upward to 100,000 MW.

The year 2009 is when the NAPCC itself was released, before this mission began.

The year 2011 falls a year after the launch, not the starting year.

The year 2012 is later still and matches phase adjustments rather than the launch.

It is one of the eight national missions under the National Action Plan on Climate Change.
