A33448
B32040
C30102
D31416 ✓ Correct
Correct answer: (D) 31416 — The answer is 31416.
Explanation
★The answer is 31416.
★Since City A is 23.4 percent of the total and equals 257400, the total population is 1100000.
★City F is 10.2 percent of the total, which is 112200.
★Its non-adult share is 100 minus 72, which is 28 percent.
★So the non-adult population is 28 percent of 112200.
★That is 31416.
★So the answer is 31416.
