A15
B12
C20
D24 ✓ Correct
Correct answer: (D) 24 — The answer is about 24 percent.
Explanation
★The answer is about 24 percent.
★Movie B sold 7500, 9500, 12000, 10500, 17000 and 13500 tickets across the six cities.
★The total of these is 70000 tickets.
★In Hyderabad movie B sold 17000 tickets.
★So the share is 17000 divided by 70000, times 100.
★That is about 24.28 percent, or 24 percent.
★So the answer is 24.
