Based on this data, answer the questions that follow.
Considering only the English sports magazines, the ratio between the number of readers in 2020 to the number of readers during 2020 to 2023 is:
A2 : 9
B1 : 8 ✓ Correct
C2 : 15
D2 : 5
Correct answer: (B) 1 : 8 — The ratio is 1 to 8, so that is the answer.
Explanation
The ratio is 1 to 8, so that is the answer.
English sports readership in 2020 is 0.8 lakh.
Across 2020 to 2023 it is 0.8 plus 1.2 plus 2.0 plus 2.4 lakh.
That total is 6.4 lakh.
So the ratio is 0.8 to 6.4.
Dividing both by 0.8 gives 1 to 8.
