The table shows the number of employees preferring their own vehicle, and the percentage preferring Metro and Bus, for companies A to E. There are only three modes of transport.
| Company | Own Vehicle | Metro (%) | Bus (%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| A | 184 | 68 | 24 |
| B | 78 | 60 | 35 |
| C | 384 | 55 | 30 |
| D | 182 | 70 | 16 |
| E | 220 | 72.5 | 15 |
In another company P, the number of employees who prefer Metro is 25% more than the number who prefer Metro from company B, and the Metro preferrers in P are 45% of the total employees in P. Then the total number of employees in company E is what percentage less than the total number of employees in company P?
Company E is about 32 and 4 by 13 percent less than P, so the answer is that value.
Metro preferrers in company B are 60% of 1560, which is 936.
Metro preferrers in P are 25% more, so 936 times 1.25, which is 1170.
Since Metro is 45% of P's total, the total for P is 1170 divided by 0.45, which is 2600.
The total for company E is 1760.
The percentage less is 2600 minus 1760 over 2600 times 100, which is 840 over 26.
That equals about 32 and 4 by 13 percent.
