B14 : 61
C159 : 671 ✓ Correct
D2 : 11
Correct answer: (C) 159 : 671 — The new ratio is 159 to 671, so that is the answer.
Explanation
The new ratio is 159 to 671, so that is the answer.
There are 80 crore patients, and hepatitis is 6 percent, which is 4.8 crore.
Increasing 4.8 crore by 6 percent gives about 5.088 crore.
Heart disease is 22 percent, which is 17.6 crore.
Increasing 17.6 crore by 22 percent gives about 21.472 crore.
The ratio of 5.088 to 21.472 simplifies to about 159 to 671.
